About LARQ Water Bottles
Did anyone else read Uglies by Scott Westerfeld growing up? I can’t be the only one since, rumor has it, it’s going to be adapted to film soon.
Anyway, I won’t go too into detail, but it’s set in a futuristic dystopian world where the main character is gifted a water bottle to help her survive in a wasteland.
This water bottle isn’t just any regular old water bottle though. It can filter water so well that another character jokes that it could even filter pee. Gross… but talented.
So, when I first heard of LARQ, the company using PureVis technology to remove 99.9% of harmful matter from water, my mind immediately pictured that fun futuristic story that I read all the way back in the sixth grade, but is it futuristic anymore? OR HAVE WE ARRIVED TO THE FUTURE?! This technological feat certainly makes it feel that way.

LARQ’s PureVis technology utilizes UV light to kill off nasty bacteria, protozoa, and more. This is a much better strategy than the harmful chemicals people usually resort to, but that’s another story.
While UV light is no friend to your skin– don’t worry; it is contained properly inside the LARQ bottle– it has proven time and time again that it can fight off harmful agents just as well as your leading disinfectant wipe –better even, seeing as how the wipes can disinfect surfaces but not the air or water.

LARQ Bottle PureVis has over 5,000 reviews! And even after those 5,000 reviews, it has maintained 4.6 stars! I don’t know about you, but I love when websites give you the option to just see the lowest ratings because it shows me that the company has nothing to hide. So, that’s what I did! I went to the reviews on the LARQ website and clicked on Lowest rating.
The first thing I want to note is that LARQ has responded to every bad review on its site. Every company gets bad reviews. It’s inevitable! You can’t please everyone, but it’s nice to know that if you are displeased by your order, LARQ will not ignore you and will work with you to create a pleasant experience.
That being said, a majority of the bad reviews I saw dealt with delivery timing. Keep in mind that if you order your LARQ Bottle PureVis or any LARQ product around the holidays, that it may take longer to get to your doorstep.
In general, post offices have been short on employees since the pandemic and so we must consider that when judging a slow delivery.
However, the amount of bad reviews did not hold a candle to the amount of good reviews! Many satisfied customers flocked to the LARQ website to gush about the bottle’s gorgeous design, the yummy water it produces, and even how well it fits in their car’s cup holder. I felt that last one.
Another thing I want to note is that LARQ Bottle PureVis has a chargeable battery, but customers pointed out that the battery seemingly lasted forever! No bad reviews were made about the battery’s lifespan.

It does not use the PureVis technology which is the best way to kill contaminants and keep them away, but it does filter the water using a Nano Zero filter as it enters the bottle.
This bottle may be a better fit for those planning to finish it within a few hours of filling it up. If you are someone that tends to let your water sit for a while, the LARQ Bottle PureVis is the way to go.
